LOUSY WEEKEND

Well folks, it ain't been the best of weekends. Firstly Harrogate Town lose 3-0 at home to Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday and then today Leeds United lose at Histon in the FA Cup, the first time Leeds have lost to non-league opposition in their history - bloody disgraceful! When McAllister was interviewed just before the end of the programme, you could tell he had just had a rant at his 'players' as he was suddenly choosing his words very carefully! Also his face was bloodshot and it looked as if he was about to have a heart attack. To be fair to him he did congratulate Histon. Of course the last thing that any depressed Leeds fan wants to see is Man Utd winning on the same day!
When the dust has settled, there will be some terrific 3rd round ties to look forward to. Middlesborough v Barrow and Preston v Liverpool aren't bad and also the possibility of a local duel between Notts County and Eastwood providing the former can win their replay against Kettering.

See ya!

NEWS UPDATE!

Hi everybody!

A lot has happened this week. The England Cricket team who are 5-0 down in the seven match one day series have been reprieved although not for the right reasons. The Test series is still set to go ahead. These maniacs need to be shown that we will not give in to their evil.

On a happier note Harrogate Town have been drawn away to Durham City in the 1st round proper of the FA Trophy. Durham are riding high in the Unibond 1st Division and enjoy cup competitions as they took Histon (Leed's opponents on Sunday in the FA Cup) to a replay and had previously thrashed Stalybridge Celtic 6-1 away from home! Town also thrashed Fleetwood Town 5-2 on Tuesday in the league.
Just been watching Barrow beat Brentford in the 2nd round of the FA Cup. I always thought they could do it as I have been to Barrow's ground a few times and it is hostile to say the least. I hope Barrow are rewarded with a big Premiership club.

See ya later!
